Step 1: Open the Shoviv Lotus Notes Migration Suite and select the Add NSF File(s)/ Domino Mailbox(es) option from the ribbon bar.
Step 2: You have various ways to add the source NSF File(s):
- Add Local NSF File(s): Go with this option to add the NSF File(s) from your system's local folder.

- Add Domino Mailboxes NSF File(s): You can opt for this option to add the NSF File(s) from Domino Server by providing the Server Name/IP Address.

- Add SmartCloud Notes/Verse NSF File(s): In the same way, you can also proceed with this option to select the SmartCloud Notes/Verse NSF File(s) for exporting into Exchange Server on-premises.
- Search Local NSF File(s): To find NSF File(s) within the local folder, you can use this option and select multiple source NSF File(s) to process.
- You can also use the CSV file to add multiple users at once. After adding the NSF File(s), Domino Mailbox(es), confirm by clicking OK.
Step 3: Now, the Item Export and Save Settings wizard will open. Here, you can modify changes according to your needs and tap OK
- You can change this setting anytime by clicking the mouse’s right button, and selecting the Export and Save Settings option.
Step 4: After that, you have to choose the target (On-Premises Exchange Server) for Multiple NSF File(s) or the Single NSF File(s), as per the task.
Step 5: You can now mark/unmark the folders and subfolders from the list. Also, you can use the Exclude Folder option to omit undesired folders from the NSF File(s) and tap the Next button.
Step 6: In this wizard, you have to connect the target mailbox (On-Premises Exchange Server).
- For On-Premises Exchange Server: You also get two options for this; please select any of them.
- Fetch all mailboxes from Outlook Profile: Select the Outlook Profile for your On-Premises Server to proceed with this option.
- Note: Outlook Profile is a must to connect target. Click here:

- Fetch all Mailboxes from Active Directory (AD): With this option, you have to provide the domain name, username, and password.

- After entering the target details, kindly click the Next button.
Step 7: Thereafter, you must map the source mailbox to the target mailbox and validate the target. Then, continue with the Next button.
Step 8: You can apply two filter options, Item Type and Message Date, to include/exclude NSF File(s) items.
- Also, you can use the Folder Mapping and Email Translation option to meet your needs.
- Then, you can manage already exported items if processing again using the Export All Items option. Tap the Next button.

Step 9: Now, the Lotus Notes to On-Premises Exchange Server migration will begin.
Step 10: After completing the migration process, click the Finish button, and you can save the migration report if needed.
